Meet Gunner ??Gunner came to us as an owner surrender after his beloved owner passed away, leaving no one able to care for him. His former family shared that he did wonderfully with children, other dogs, and even cats—though the cats may not have appreciated how much he enjoyed chasing them!This big sweetheart is easy to leash, walks well, and lights up when he sees another dog. During his meet-and-greet here at the shelter, he was all tail wags, playful bounces, and friendly sniffs. He’s still figuring things out and can be a bit unsure at times, but his gentle nature shines through. Gunner simply wants a second chance and a family to call his own.We always recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children before adoption to ensure the best fit for everyone.??
