He had made himself quite comfortable by digging a cozy hideaway under his finder’s home—and while he wasn’t thrilled about being “evicted,” he gave our Animal Control Officers absolutely no trouble when they brought him to the shelter.Butters knows what he likes (and what he doesn’t), and he’s not shy about letting you know. This laid-back guy enjoys lounging, prefers peace and quiet, and may offer a little grumble if loud noises interrupt his relaxation. If you’re searching for a dog who’s all about slow days, calm vibes, and maximum chill, Butters is your perfect match.He has met several dogs while in our care and seems to do best with companions who are smaller and lower energy—not too low energy, though… because then would they even move? ??Butters did arrive wearing an ID tag—complete with his name—but sadly the phone number was disconnected. With no microchip at the time, there was no way to reach a possible previous family. Now, this charming cross between Eeyore and Oscar the Grouch is ready to find a home that appreciates his relaxed lifestyle and lovable grumpiness.??
