Louie came to us as a stray after he wandered into someone’s pasture, and thanks to some gentle coaxing (and a tasty treat!), he hopped right into a crate and came to us at the shelter.At first, Louie was a bit unsure and barky in his kennel—it’s a big, new world for a young pup! But once he realized that shelter life includes walks, pets, and lots of love, he relaxed and started to show his playful, goofy side.Louie is a hilarious, energetic guy who’s always ready for a game, a walk, or anything active. He recently met another dog here and, after a few minutes of warming up, was inviting her to play!
