Chipper and Skipper came to us as strays after a Good Samaritan spotted them alongside a VERY busy highway. Fearing for their safety, he scooped them up, kept them safe for the night, and brought them to us the very next morning when we opened. Neither dog had an ID tag and neither was microchipped prior to arriving to us, making it impossible to know if they had an owner. No one ever came forward to claim them, and now these two sweet boys are officially in adoptionâready for a brand-new leash on life. While we donât know much about their past, we do know a lot about who they are now:?? Chipper | A312630⢠1 year old⢠Tan mix⢠Neutered male⢠30.50 lbs (such a little cutie! ??)Chipper is easy to leash and walk, VERY friendly, and super playful. He got along wonderfully with his travel buddy Skipper and also did great meeting a new dog friend here at the shelter. Total sweetheart!?? Skipper | A312629⢠6 years old⢠Black Lab⢠Neutered male⢠83 lbs (a very sweet and adorable chonk ??)Skipper is also easy to leash and walk, extremely gentle, and beyond sweet. He got along great with Chipper and another dog he met hereâtrying to bounce and play with her like a big happy puppy! We highly recommend meet-and-greets with other dogs and children prior to adoption to ensure the best fit for everyone.?? Please remember the 3-3-3 Rule when adopting a shelter pet:⢠3 days to decompress and adjust to new surroundings⢠3 weeks to start learning routines and building trust⢠3 months to feel fully comfortable and at home?? Adoption fee: 8??0?? eachBoth dogs are neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventatives as administered while at ICAS.??
