Meet Bessie, a beautiful adult kitty with a calm, self-assured spirit. She's not a lap cat and prefers keeping a respectful distance from humans, but she appreciates knowing someone kind is nearby, watching out for her with fresh food, clean water, and a safe place to call home.




Bessie would thrive in a




barn, warehouse, shop, or large rural property


where she can patrol her territory, hunt, and live life on her own terms. She needs a sturdy shelter (like a heated or well-insulated barn cat house, shed, or enclosed space) to get in and out of the elements year-round, especially during cold winter months.


She's comfortable with other cats as long as everyone is spayed/neutered and there's plenty of space for each to have their own domain-no crowding or drama.
