Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.Principito is Looking For: His forever home! Principito is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. His experience with the world has been very limited and he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. He is eager to get his fresh start with his own humans in the DC area - he's well out of the puppy yips but still has plenty of pep in his step and wants to explore his new area on sniffy walks and adventures! But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved, where he belongs. In exchange he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say?
