I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Poncho, and I am a cute little kitten! I won't ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be my kitten self. Two kittens are better than one - consider adopting my buddy Franco, too!
What my foster says about me: Poncho has come out of his shell and developed into the sweetest, most loving cat who expresses his love in unique and fun ways. He waits for my daughter to wake up in the AM and come home from school in the PM. He shows affection by snuggling and licking toes and rolling over for belly rubs. He loves the printer and hangs out in the office in the event the printer decides to spit some surprise out :) He will play with any toy but is content to just chill on a beanbag. He plays with the other foster cats and has given a kiss or two to the residents dogs. He is 100%% sweetheart and ready to commit his love to his forever home.
What The Shelter Says About Me: Poncho (just look at how handsome he is in his photos.) is a robust, sleek furred little man that masquerades his shyness in a gorgeous tuxedo. He is a bit "look but don't touch" kinda guy until he really gets to know you and feels the trust. However he forms fast and unrelenting bonds with his kitty condo mates but retreats into his own little world when he misses them. Poncho does love to be petted but not so crazy about being held - yet. Poncho is not aggressive in any way and first to the door when someone approaches but uses a lot of caution before he relaxes to be touched unless you are the food bearer and lets him know that you are one of the good guys. (His photos were taken by two strangers and he was out of his condo if you can read eyes and posture...he was ok but cautious.) Poncho is looking for a forever home that he may be able to share with a 4-legged buddy for comfort and humans that will give him the space he needs to grow and learn to trust - he will be fabulous in the right hands!
