GABRIELLA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Name: Gabriella Best Guess for Breed: Lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 7 months as of December 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 39.2 lbs as of 1/4/26 - she is still growing!
Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area boarding facility
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Gabriella would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Gabriella is Looking For: Gabriella is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. She's eager to get her forever family in the DC area. Long sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures her new humans can dream up - yes, please! Burning all that awesome young-dog energy while exploring her new area and playing with pup pals are high on her wish list. But right at the top is knowing she's safe and loved, where she belongs. In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes and tail wags - and love and loyal companionship for all her days.
What do you say? Is there a spot in your home and your heart for Gabriella?Dog's Day Out Adventure (1/6/26): Gabriella did great. She was outgoing and friendly to people and dogs and curious about kids. Curious about birds, also, but not difficult around them. Everything here is still new to her and she gets just a bit startled by buses and such, but I bet she is gonna get the hang of it all with practice. Boarding says she is doing good there.
