Tripp is Looking For: A family that is into adventures. Any adventure you can dream up, I'm in! City, parks, agility/hikes, dog sports, by the water, car, you name it I am in! After a busy day I'm ready to relax with you. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me?
What My Foster Says About Me: Reports from Dog's Day Out adventurers: Tripp is such a happy and energetic boy! He acts like a little puppy but he also did very well in the house when we brought him in for a visit. He knew how to signal to go out for potty breaks, knew sit/lay/shake, explored but didn't try to destroy everything......He walked well on leash with many off leash dogs running around and was friendly to all, people and dogs. He is smart and is attentive to you-he checked in with me a couple times for guidance/permission. Yesterday he sat on my lap on the way to/from the adoption event-where he behaved well. He comes with the full body hug lap dog melting into you feature!
Additional notes from an overnight with a foster: He is a big adventurer, up for anything, and loves to walk/run and play! He does well in the crate and once he's had some good exercise, he settles well in the home, and entertains himself with his toys. He's been doing very well on house-training and while he likes to explore the house, he doesn't chew on the wrong things!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog
