Estimated Weight: 32 lbs as of 2/15/26 - she is still growing!

Gets Along With: Other dogs! Salma's foster has observed her around kids, dogs, and cats, and she seems to do very well with them all.

Salma is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Salma! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me?
What My Foster Says About Me: Salma is perfect for anyone looking for a well-rounded puppy. She gets short bursts of energy and loves playing with her toys, exploring, and running around outside. Once she is tired out, she is a big fan of napping and cuddling close to her human. At some point she will probably end up in your lap. :) She does not mind getting bathed, going on car rides, or taking medicine- as long as it is coated in peanut butter! A few words to describe Salma are sweet, loyal, playful, loving, cuddly, and intelligent.

I was impressed with how quickly she was able to adapt to her new environment. Salma loves people so we were able to bond immediately. She is a very confident puppy and has greeted everyone she has met with kisses and tail wags. Salma gets along with other dogs that share her same energy. She is respectful towards my cats and follows their cues. Salma is also great with children.
Salma is very treat-motivated so is eager to learn quickly. We are currently working on basic commands including come, sit, down, off, and leave it, drop it, and paw/shake. Potty training has been going great so far. She usually whines when she needs to go outside. If not, she sniffs around more than usual. Take this as another sign to let her outside for a potty break. When left alone for long periods of time, Salma will need to be crated. She is currently working on crate training.
