I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Sawyer, and I am a handsome cat! I won't ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself.
What the Shelter Says About Me: Sawyer is a chunk of gorgeous marbled tabby and white fella with Maybelline eyes. He has made his Adult Kitty Playroom pals a happier group just by his presence. It is hard to explain...perhaps his teenage sense of play and humor? At first, for some reason, he had a rough patch. He just did not like condo life at the shelter (condo is our soft term for 'cage'). However, after a few months of attentive care and his share of affection from volunteers in our shelter, he has transformed into the new greeter in the Kitty Playroom - or maybe even the events planner. He is gregarious, playful with both young and not-so-young feline residents. (However, when the Kitty-ladies tell him to stop - he stops.) He is now the epitome of a confident teen kitty and loves nothing more than to sit in a lap for love. He is an easy to please young man - when it comes to food, toys and soft warm beds but truly prefers your lap - if at all possible. He has been convinced that coming forward is more fun than shrinking back! He has been seen running around the room with joy inviting others to let down their hair and play. This wonderful kitty will make a tried and true companion for life.
