SHERBERT NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Sherbert is Looking For: His forever home! This sweetie is at the tail end of puppyhood and ready to see the world! He's eagerly looking forward to having his own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so he can show how super smart he is. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And he will want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed.
Most of all, though, he wants to know he is safe and loved. In exchange he promises all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags he can store up, and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say? Is Sherbert the one you see by your side? What My Foster Says About Me: Are you an active person and looking for an exercise companion? Meet Sherbert, he's a high-energy, fun-loving guy who truly thrives with lots of daily activity and enrichment. He likes to go for long walks and go to the dog park every day. He would really going to the park two times a day or accompanying you on a run! He's his happiest self when he's moving and getting his steps in! When his exercise needs are met, he settles beautifully and naps right after.
He is sweet and incredibly food motivated. He loves tug toys, chew toys, Kongs, and Pupsicles, and we've had great success feeding him with frozen slow feeders and puzzle toys. He walks well on leash is happy to see dogs, people, and even squirrels. He's playful but appropriate with other dogs.
At our house he is sleeping through the night and has been excellent with house training (no accidents so far-one of my best fosters!). With the right active home that enjoys exercise, structure, and mental enrichment, he's going to be an amazing companion.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
