ANGELICA NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!

We think Angelica would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure shde can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Angelica is Looking For: Angelica is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. She did an amazing job of raising her nine babies Mr. Dali, Mr. Leonardo, Mr. Matisse, Mr. Monet, Mr. Picasso, Mr. Van Gogh, Ms. Georgia, Ms. Leonora, and Ms. Tamara to be amazing family pets. They all have gone off to their forever homes, and Angelica can't wait for her turn!
She's a young girl looking forward to sniffy walks and romps in parks and all the adventures her new family can dream up. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed would be great too, but you know what she wants most of all?
To be safe and loved, to know where she belongs. Is that by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: Angelica is so sweet and slowly getting used to her new foster home. She loves other dogs and would likely enjoy having a dog in the home to build her confidence. She is a little shy at first but is warming up and doing well working on training and house manners!
Heartworm information: Angelica is a truly Lucky Dog. She tested positive for heartworms, but has been treated! Heartworm is not contagious to people or other pets, but results from mosquito bites. Heartworm, if left untreated, is life threatening, but after treatment, dogs that were heartworm positive should suffer no significant long-term effects so long as they are kept on a monthly heartworm preventative. Heartworm dogs can resume full active and normal lives, but need to be kept calm for 4-6 weeks after treatment. We are happy to discuss where in the treatment process this Lucky Dog is in right now! Just email the adoption coordinator - the address is at lower left!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $475, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and heartworm treatment. If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online at bit.ly/adoptaluckydog
