Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Daphne is Looking For: Her forever home! This happy girl - seriously, are you kidding with that smile?! - has got all that awesome young-dog energy and is eager for sniffy trotting walks and all the adventures her new humans can dream up (heeler mixes and their energy - IYKYK!). Once she's gotten her wiggles out she's ready to have a place she can come home to with yummy food and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too! But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to spend time with her favorite people, and to be safe and loved. Daphne has so much to give to her humans - adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all her days. What My Foster Says About Me: Daphne is an absolute sweetheart and the definition of companion. She matches the energy and play style of every single dog she meets and loves every dog and person. She is a true couch potato who would sleep all day only to wake for breakfast and dinner which she is so excited for every single time. She has learned sit and has not had any accidents in her foster home. Her permanent smile makes any day instantly brighter. She does not live with kids but is the gentlest soul ever and has met many out and about and is great with them! Wherever her pack is, she is, a true Velcro pup. She also has an iconic sploot. She is the best every day errand pal too, just an absolute bestie. She hangs in coffee shops and falls right to sleep under the table, only to wake when new friends come to greet her. This dog is really the sweetest ever and deserves the world!
