Name: Beauty Best Guess for Breed: Jack Russell terrier and Lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of January 2026 SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 24 lbs as of 1/10/26; might have just a bit more to grow

Gets Along With: Other dogs! She also has lived with cats! We haven't seen her with kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Beauty is Looking For: Beauty has brains and a heart too and she knows what's most important in life - being safe and loved, knowing where she belongs! She's seeking her own humans for sniffy walks and romps and world exploration - and for all those great snuggles. She'd love to make pup pals along the way, and would like to go to dog school so she can show how super smart she is.

In exchange, she promises so many adoring gazes - and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Is Beauty the one you see by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: Beauty is the perfect size and is one of those dogs who quietly steals your heart just by being herself. From the moment she arrived, it was clear how special she is. She immediately got along well with our resident dog and has been very respectful of the cats! She is a snuggle bug with both dogs and humans and loves nothing more than curling up in bed and giving sweet kisses. She has done great sleeping through the night in her crate and has been such a respectful house guest so far. She's the kind of dog who fits right into your life and makes everything a little sweeter. Whoever adopts her is going to be very, very lucky!
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
