Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen him with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: Puerto Rico shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here!
Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure they can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.
Archie is Looking For: Hi! I'm Archie. My brother Torombolo and I have enjoyed growing up together on sunny Puerto Rico but now we're ready to split up and get our own homes in the DC area. This is what I want: My own humans for sniffy walks and all the adventures they can dream up. And dog school so I can show how super smart I am. And then pets and cuddles and belly scritches at the end of a fun day together. And I want quality kibble and a cushy dog bed too. Most of all, though, I want to know I'm safe and loved. In exchange I promise all the adoring gazes and happy tail wags I'm storing up, and loyal companionship for all my days. What do you say?
