Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Special adoption considerations: In certain home settings -- where the environment might be loud or more intense -- Della would do better with another dog in the home to give her confidence.

Della is Looking For: Her forever home! This pretty girl is out of puppyhood and has got all that awesome young-dog energy. She is eager for romps and all the adventures her new humans can dream up. Making pup pals along the way would be great. Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too! But you know what she wants most of all? To know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. Della has so much to give to her humans - adoring gazes, love, and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Can you see her trotting by your side?
What My Foster Says About Me: Della loves everyone and every dog she meets. Timid and shy at first, this lovable pup has blossomed to being quite sassy and opinionated. She will verbally let you know that she doesn't like being crated, but will begrudgingly hang out in her crate if you give her the right treat. She loves playing bitey-face (with other dogs of course ;) ), wrestling, and playing chase with her play mates. But will settle down on the couch for a nap. She loves getting chin scratches and ear rubs, and loves digging out little plushies hidden inside bigger plushy toys. She will jump into your lap for cuddles and give you face kisses. She is still learning to potty on leash, but has been good about going out to the yard to do her business. She would love to find her human that she can snuggle with and follow around.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
