Best Guess for Age: 10 Months as of January 2026 SEX: male
Approximate Weight: 27.6 lbs as of 2/1/26 - his weight has been stable for a while

Gets Along With: Other dogs!! And, Maaran has also lived with cats! We haven't seen him kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Maaran is Looking For: Maaran is at the tail end of puppyhood and has got all that awesome young-dog energy. He's eager for romps and playtime and all the adventures his new humans can dream up. He loves other dogs and people! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed - yes, those too! But you know what he wants most of all? To know where he belongs, to be safe and loved.
What My Foster Says About Me: Maaran is one cute little guy! He's got plenty of puppy energy and inquisitiveness but settles well and has not been destructive or particularly mouthy. He has gotten along well with our resident dog and several other dogs in the neighborhood. He is happy to chase and wrestle with dogs much bigger than him but has not been aggressive. He has met our cat and showed little to no interest but they haven't spent much time together. He has been quiet in his crate each night and has done all his business outside. A young guy just arrived from Texas into a big snow storm, he is really enjoying himself so far.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
