EBBIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!
Come meet EBbie and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (1/4) from 12-3 pm at the PetSmart in Alexandria, VA (3351 Richmond Hwy, Alexandria, VA 22305)!
Name: Ebbie Best Guess for Breed: Terrier and lab mix
Best Guess for Age: 11 months as of December 2025 SEX: Female
Approximate Weight: 45.4 lbs as of 9/30/25 - she might have just a bit more to grow
Gets Along With: Other dogs! She has enjoyed meeting kids. She also met a cat and did not try to chase it. While this is a positive sign she could live with cats, she has not done so to our knowledge. We are happy to discuss integration techniques with any interested adopters!
Currently Living at: DC area foster home
Special adoption considerations: Ebbie came into our care after being hit by a car. She had a leg amputated and is now living happily and healthily as a tripod!
Ebbie is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweetie landed in the shelter and needed a leg amputated after being hit by a car when she was an older puppy. She's just such a great, happy, loving pup and deserves a great rest of her life! Sniffy walks, romps in parks, all the adventures her humans can dream up, making pup pals along the way - all those good things that come with being a well-loved dog. In exchange she promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all her days. What do you say? Does she has a spot in your home and your heart?
What My Foster Says About Me: Ebbie loves everyone -- people, dogs, and kids! She does well on her three legs and loves to run and play with other dogs and go on nice long walks. She is smart and a quick learner, and wants nothing more than to be hanging out with her people and getting lots of love or snuggling on the couch.
