Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!

Pooh Bear is Looking For: Her forever home! This sweet girl landed in the shelter through no fault of her own. At about five years old, she's past her puppy days but is up for adventure - she's eager for sniffy walks (that beagle nose!!!) and world exploration with her humans! A cushy dog bed, quality kibble, and lots of snuggles round out her wish list. But most of all she wants to know where she belongs, that she's safe and loved. What do you say? This sweet pup has quickly proven to be an easygoing and lovable companion in foster care. She's calm, quiet, and settles in nicely at home, making herself comfortable wherever she goes. She loves people, gets along well with other dogs, and is always happy to soak up attention - especially belly rubs!
She's been doing great in her foster home, with no overnight accidents and nice leash manners on walks. She's also quite the curious "sniffy" explorer and is very food motivated, which should make continued training fun and rewarding. Overall, she's a friendly, affectionate dog who would make a wonderful addition to many different types of homes.
Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken. All of our dogs are working on their crate training.
