Gets Along With: Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.

Currently Living at: DC area foster home

Special Adoption Considerations: Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.
Buddha is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Buddha! I have a big heart and lots of puppy energy. I'm ready to pack my bags and leave the shelter in search of my forever family! My dream family will love playing with me, help me make doggy friends, and teach me new tricks so I can be the best puppy ever. I love playing with other dogs, tossing around chew toys and after I've tired myself out I'll curl up and take a long cozy nap. Mostly, I'm looking for a family who will love me through all my puppy stages-celebrate my wins, help me learn, and snuggle me close at the end of the day. If you're ready for tail wags, puppy kisses, and a lifetime of love, I'm your guy!
What My Foster Says About Me: Buddha is a total sweetheart! He has the most striking green eyes with a beautiful cinnamon coat. His favorite place to be is curled up in your lap. A close second is chasing after his squeaky ball and playing fetch. He is affectionate, playful, and happy to be your little shadow and shower you with puppy. He loves to play with the other pups in the house and can't wait to explore the world by your side! Ready to meet your best friend? Look no further because Buddha is the best!

Puppy Vetting Requirements: Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be "fully" vaccinated. It is the adopter's responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog! TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.
