Special adoption considerations: Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think this pup would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure he can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.Simba is Looking For: His forever home! Simba is a sato - a dog from Puerto Rico. His experience with the world has been very limited and he hasn't seen nearly enough of it. He is eager to get his fresh start with his own humans in the DC area - he may be well out of the puppy yips but he''s got plenty of pep in his step! And he's eager to explore his new area on sniffy walks and adventures! But you know what he wants most of all? To know he's safe and loved, where he belongs. In exchange he promises adoring gazes and loyal companionship for all his days. What do you say?
