WATCH MY VIDEO...Marbles is a 1 year, 7 month old tricolor American Staffordshire Terrier who came to us from another shelter in search of a fresh start. At 44 pounds, he’s a solid, handsome boy, but beneath that sturdy build is a sensitive soul who’s still learning to feel safe in a new environment. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for Marbles, and he can be quite nervous, especially at first. He tends to take a little time to warm up to new people and situations, but with patience and a gentle approach, he begins to relax and shows that he enjoys being petted. Once he trusts you, his softer, sweeter side starts to come through. Marbles also appears to be potty trained, which is a great sign that he’s had some structure before and is eager to settle back into a home routine. What Marbles needs most is a calm, patient family who will give him the time and understanding he deserves. He’s not the kind of dog who will immediately be the life of the party, but for someone willing to go slow and build that bond, he has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
