WATCH MY VIDEO...Tokyo and Turnip are two 9 month old lab mixes with hearts as big as their journey. These sweet pups made their way all the way from St. Lucia in search of a brighter future, and while they are safe now, the big changes have left them feeling a little shy. New places, new faces, new everything. It is a lot for young dogs to take in. Because of that, Tokyo and Turnip are still finding their footing here at the shelter. Some days, they will gather their courage and come up to greet their human friends with gentle curiosity. Other days, they prefer to hang back and take it all in from a safe distance. That is perfectly okay. What never changes is their kind, loving nature. Even when they are unsure, they are always sweet, always gentle, and always trying in their own quiet way. Tokyo and Turnip do not have to be adopted together. They are resilient and will adjust in the right home. What matters most is that each of them finds a calm, patient family who understands that trust takes time.
