WATCH MY VIDEO...Oh sweet Ivy. This brave girl has been through more than any dog ever should. Ivy is just 6 years old and about 40 pounds. She came to us after being hit by a car and suffering terrible injuries. She was scared, in pain, and fighting for her life. While we were not able to save her leg, we were able to save her life and that means everything. Ivy received emergency surgery and loving care from our veterinary team and slowly began to heal. She was nursed back to health and even spent time in a foster home where she could finally feel safe and loved. What touches our hearts the most is that even after everything she has been through her tail never stopped wagging. Ivy is gentle, loving, and incredibly sweet. She loves other dogs, kids, and even cats. She enjoys sunbathing, going on walks, and quietly chewing on her stuffed toys. She does not chew on household items and is described as one of the most loving and tolerant dogs you could ever meet. Now that she is healing we are seeing her beautiful personality shine. Ivy is adjusting amazingly to life on three legs and is already running around like a pro. All she needs now is a loving family to give her the happy ending she deserves.
