Sully

Forever home wanted, meet sweet puppy Sully! Sully was one of three puppies found dumped in the middle of nowhere left to fend for themselves. Luckily, wonderful volunteers that trap abandoned dogs in that area was alerted and able to trap them. Sully was the last puppy needing a rescue to take him on and try to find him a forever home.

Sully's foster can't say enough wonderful things about him. It's amazing how resilient these creatures are to be able to quickly learn to trust again and just be a puppy!! From Sully's foster:

He's happy, goofy, crazy and fun. He's learned what toys are and can't decide on just one. The squeakers really scared him at first but he seems to like them now. He did his first zoomies yesterday. He's smart and already knows sit and down. He's very food motivated so he's easy to train. He's doing great on his leash walking, no pulling and I've already taken him jogging. He did great. He rides politely in my truck although he tries to get into the front seat occasionally. We're working on that. He's sleeping in a crate at night and settles after just a couple of minutes. He did great off leash at dog beach. He liked the water and wanted to say hi to everyone, dogs and people.

He has all the normal crazy puppy behavior and is pushing his limits like I'd expect. This boy is not shy. He can be pushy with my other dogs so I try to intervene before things get out of control. He just wants them to play but they are old and cranky. Sometimes he's a little scared of new dogs. I think he'd do great with a dog that would play with him. I don't know anything about how he'd do with cats and other animals.

Sully's a really great dog, very loving and cuddly with me. He's gonna be a big boy. He's 35 pounds now but still quite skinny. His paws are huge!
