Does OTTER resemble someone you know? Maybe a certain puppy (or two) who once called PAC homeâ¦Well, meet Otter This 2-year-old pittie mix was found as a stray in St. Charles back in March, and heâs been making quite the impression ever since. And honestly⦠heâs starting to grow right into his faceâand looking like a perfect blend of TWO PAC alumni⦠Otto and Chevy.Around the kennels, staff have been treated to his very passionate attempts at singingâsomewhere between a husky howl and his own original remixâespecially when Simba and Nyla start their duet. Right now, Otter is on leash restriction due to heartworms. This means heâs carrying some extra pent-up energy, which can show up as kennel reactivity. But donât let that fool youâoutside of the kennel, he is a completely different dog.Once heâs out, Otter is all about the love. Belly rubs, attention, and being close to his people⦠thatâs his happy place. Heâs also medium energy, walks well on leash, is partially potty trained, food motivated, and already knows sit and shakeâa smart boy whoâs trying hard to do all the right things. So if youâre stopping by, please donât judge him by what you see through the kennel doorâask staff to take him out and meet the real Otter. You just might fall in love.
