Meet Romeo Romeo is a 6-year-old male German Shepherd with a loyal heart, calm presence, and deeply affectionate personality. He may be a little shorter than your average Shepherd and he manages occasional ear infections, but those small challenges don’t define him — his resilience and devotion do.Romeo bonds quickly with people who treat him with patience and kindness. He enjoys gentle interactions and truly wants to connect. He’s social with both dogs and cats, but like many Shepherds, he can become hyperfocused when he sees other dogs and will need continued guidance to build confidence and calm responses.A Smart Boy Who Loves to LearnRomeo has been working on:• Sit and down• Leash mannersHe absolutely thrives with mental stimulation. When given puzzle toys his anxiety decreases and his confidence shines. In fact, he once carried the entire Brick puzzle to a cozy spot, laid down, and calmly worked through it on his own.He enjoys: • Playing fetch (he prefers larger balls due to some vision difficulty)• Walks where he practices focus and loose leash skills• Training sessions in quieter environments• One-on-one time in low-traffic spacesRomeo does best in calmer settings and would benefit from a kennel or home environment with less traffic, as high activity around him can make him reactive.
