Say hello to Grove. At about 5-6 years old and running a full-time purr operation.
Grove is calm, sweet, and just funny enough without trying. She's happiest soaking up gentle pets, claiming the coziest nap spots in the house, and casually reminding you she exists with a steady, soothing purr. She enjoys playful moments with her feline friends. Grove has a soft, nurturing personality and does great with kiddos, making her an easy, loving addition to a family. Grove has sensitive skin and does best on a (non-prescription) sensitive food diet. Dogs are still a mystery, but Grove is very ready to be chosen, adored, and settled into a forever home where she can finally put down roots, and supervise everything from a comfy spot nearby.

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
