Say hello to Peter, the ultimate purr-fectly paw-some polydactyl! At the age of 2, he's a bundle of sweet fluff weighing about 10 lbs. Pete's a social butterfly with the feline crowd, but he's yet to cross paths with any doggos, so who knows what adventures lie there. With an extra toe, he's got a leg up (or paw, in this case) on snagging those treats! Despite what you might think, these multi-toed marvels are actually quite the common cat club!

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
