Meet Darius, certified Big Gentle Goof™. At 2-3 years old, this handsome hunk is equal parts charm, silliness, and pure love. Darius firmly believes the best way to say hello is by flopping onto his back and demanding pets… especially tummy rubs (they are mandatory, according to him). He's got a goofy streak, a heart of gold, and zero idea of personal space once he decides you're his person.
Darius gets along famously with other cats, kids, and even dogs, making him a social butterfly in a big, cuddly body. If you're searching for a lovable clown who doubles as a snuggle expert, Darius is ready to steal your heart, and probably your couch.

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
