Kitten Jade

Say hello to Kitten Jade, this little timid girl is 4-5 months young and will need some time to warm up to you but when she does - look out - she's a motor boat who loves scritches and lying next to you. Toys are her favorite things: ribbons, feathers, springs…all of them! She will play for hours. Towers and scratching posts are also a favorite. Jade prefers not to be picked up and will come to you on her own terms like the little diva she is. Given her sensitive nature, she will is not suited for a home with dogs or kiddos.

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
