Hi, I'm Greta! I'm a 27-pound French Bulldog with the social calendar of a minor celebrity and the medical file to match. I LOVE people, food, walks, road trips, and sleeping pressed against my human like a heat-seeking missile. I do not love sharing toys, hot weather...cold weather...or the concept of personal space.
But here's what you need to know before you fall in love:
Frenchies are WORK. I have typical breed GI sensitivities, allergies, and a squishy face that overheats faster than a 90s laptop running too many tabs. I've had a Grade 1 mast cell tumor -- removed, clean margins, considered resolved, but need a mom or dad who will be on top of my medical care. I am not a low-maintenance dog, and I am not pretending to be.
What I need from you: An active vet relationship with records that show it. Not just an annual visit -- a vet who knows you and your animals. This is non-negotiable and the most common reason I haven't found my forever home yet.
I also need a home that keeps moving. I am just not built for an empty house or 24-7 couch life. Do I like a night of Netflix and snuggling? Of course! But I have a duty to my public and it would be selfish to deprive them of my potato-face charms.
Foster Mom says I'm 'dog-selective', so current pets matter (basically, I like to be the boss. Duh!). No toddlers or seniors -- I'm an enthusiastic wrecking ball of love and I love-nibble when I'm excited.
If you're a Frenchie person, you already know the work is real ...but completely worth it.
Adoption Fee: $950 -- includes spay, lumpectomy and biopsy, microchip, vaccinations, and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. (This is how much we have invested in her care. Her original breeder price was $5,000)
