Say hello to Orchard. This sweet 5-6-year-old girl brings a sense of calm, comfort, and quiet joy wherever she settles. Orchard loves gentle pets, lazy naps, and happily romping through her "grove" with fellow feline friends. She has a soft, nurturing spirit and does beautifully with kiddos, making her a wonderful family companion. Orchard has sensitive skin and thrives on a (non-prescription) sensitive skin food diet. Dogs are still an unknown, but Orchard is ready to be lovingly picked and cherished in a home of her own, where she can truly put down roots and flourish.

Paws and Prayers cats are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, FIV/FeLV tested (neg), dewormed, current on flea/tick prevention, and microchipped at the time of adoption. They are litter box trained unless otherwise noted. Please be aware we do not walk around standing & holding our shelter cats - this is unnatural to them, and we like to keep them as comfortable as possible. Please read the entire bio before emailing the foster with questions. Meet and greets are not arranged unless an adoption application is filled out and approved and are by appointment only.

Resident pets of all applicants must have had routine veterinary care, be spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccines per the recommendations of your vet, current on heartworm tests and prevention (dogs only). We will verify these records; giving your veterinarian permission to speak with us will help expedite the processing of your application. Should your pet have a medical issue that may prohibit any of these, please note that on your application and we will also verify this with your veterinarian.
