Timon

This adorable 6-year-old Chihuahua mix weighs just 8 pounds, but his heart is absolutely full-sized. Timon may start out a bit shy, but once he feels safe, he turns into the sweetest little love bug.

Timon is an easygoing guy who enjoys a simple life-hanging around the house, spending some time in the yard, and being close to his person. He loves to curl up in your lap, follow you from room to room, and snuggle under a blanket (or under the covers!) at night. He's almost fully housetrained and does very well with consistency.

This quiet little gentleman gets along with dogs of all sizes and is friendly with both men and women. He hasn't met kids yet, but his foster mom thinks he'd do just fine with gentle, respectful ones. He tolerates a crate when needed, though he'd really rather be snoozing in bed beside you.

If you're looking for a loyal, cuddly companion who wants nothing more than to be your tiny shadow, Timon might be your perfect match. His minimum adoption fee is $250 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
