Meet Monkey! This chonky guy is patiently awaiting his dream home. Monkey was known in his previous home to be a bit of a worrywart! For example, the shaking out of a plastic bag is one of Monkey's biggest fears. He is independent, but likes to stay close to his person. Monkey really enjoys playing with toys, and especially loves to fetch small balls(or pop catnip-infused bubbles!). He also likes gentle petting around his face and head, but can be a bit sensitive to people stroking down his back. Petting should happen on his terms to avoid him giving a warning swat! Monkey has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease, meaning he has a history of getting UTIs whenhe is stressed. He will benefit from a calm, predictable home to help prevent further medical concerns. With proper diet, plenty of hydration, and some patience, Monkey will blossom into a lovely household companion!
