Ginny was said to still have some accidents in the house, and to be very determined to get into food. He is looking for a home that can continue working with him on the training that his foster had started. In his most recent home, he was said to do wonderfully with the other dog and even the cat! If you are interested in meeting Ginny, please give us a call!Foster Update 03/06/26: Ginny has a very bare undercarriage that suffered some frostbite while in foster. Due to this, he was kept inside for the majority of his time with the foster. It is important to note that Ginny will be more susceptible to frostbite now, so it will be important to take precautions to prevent this. Ginny has done wonderfully inside at his foster home, including mastering potty training! Ginny is probably looking for his official retirement home where he can lean into the pet life! If you think you are the person to provide him with the cushy life he deserves, give us a call!12/29/25 This fun-loving team was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for homes that can keep them active and running! Ginny is a hyper boy who loves to run, jumps, and give kisses! However, it was noted that he can be a bit of a stinker getting his harness on and makes a game out of it. These boys are brothers and were stated to be AK Husky and German Shepherd mixes with a smidge of pitty mixed in. They are used to living outdoors on dog houses but have been enjoying the warmth of our inside kennels during this cold snap! They were said to love curling up in their straw when outdoors and coming inside to cozy up next to the fireplace. When they can not get out for a run on the sled, they were said to love playing with each other in a fenced-in yard or going on long walks through the woods! They would love to join someoneâs rec team or a home that can keep them active and stimulated! If you are interested in meeting Ginny or any of his brothers/teammates, please let us know!
