OTIS

Otis (A123758) is a 5-year-old lab who weighed over 90 lbs at intake and is looking to lose some weight!Foster update: Otis has been great during the time I've been fostering him! He has good manners; he is house trained (will stand by the door and whine to go out), crate trained and seems to know not to jump on furniture. He rarely barks and is incredibly happy and energetic. Otis is very friendly with both people and dogs and will play for hours. He has gotten along really well with the other dogs in the household (all big dogs, including an intact male).01/03/26 This handsome and happy guy is Otis! Otis was brought to the shelter due to no fault of his own with his little brother Larry! We do not have much information Otis' behavior and history. He has been VERY outgoing while at the shelter, eager to say hello to every single human. Otis' buddy Larry is a smaller dog, so he appears to do well with at least small dogs. He has not seemed too bothered by his doggy neighbors, while at the shelter. Please make sure that any and all introductions to other animals are done in a slow and controlled manner to allow for the best possible outcome. Otis has kept his kennel relatively clean while at the shelter, so he may be housebroken. He has been very excitable and energetic, so he may be the type of dog to accidentally knock into people, especially smaller kiddos. Please keep this in mind if you have little ones in the house.
