Bathsheba (A141445) is a 3-year-old Great Pyrenees who weighed 53.7 pounds on intake! 03/11/26 This shy but sweet girl is Bathsheba! Bathsheba was surrendered to the shelter because her owner had too many dogs to care for. She arrived at the shelter with her sisters, also available for adoption! These girls have previously lived outdoors and will need help adjusting to indoor living. They have spent some time indoors and were said to be figuring out potty training but are not fully housebroken. We encourage their next owners to bring them to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on their manners and build their confidence. They were described as very sweet dogs, and their owner felt that with some time and patience, their personalities would truly shine through. They were said to do well with babies and children. They can be initially shy around new people, but do warm up with time (and treats)! They were known to jump up on people for attention and pets. When it came to being around other animals, it was advised that they be fed separately from other dogs, but that they did get along well with the other dogs in the home. They have no experience with cats, pocket pets, or livestock. Please ensure that you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new animals. If you are interested in meeting Bathsheba, please let us know!
