LILO

Lilo (A142148) is a 3-year-old DSH who weighed nearly 18 pounds on intake! 05/14/26 This robust lady is Lilo! Lilo was surrendered to the shelter because her owner was moving and couldn't bring her with. We did have the shelter vet assess Lilo, as she is very overweight. It is important that she loses weight for overall health – both physically and mentally. Lilo was said to be nervous around new people and does best with slow introductions. If approached too quickly, she was known to swat/scratch. It was noted that Lilo did great with the young child in the home! She was also noted to prefer women. Her surrendering owner said that if Lilo likes you she is really the sweetest and wants to be in your lap. Lilo is just looking for the right fit. She has no experience around dogs and was said to be nervous around cats. She may do best in a home where she is the only pet. If you are interested in meeting Lilo, please let us know!
