SLOANE

Sloane (A141711) is a 2-year-old DMH who weighed just over 11 pounds on intake! 04/09/26 This shy gal is Sloane! Sloane was surrendered to the shelter and is looking for a quiet place to call home. She finds the world a bit scary and is especially fearful of men. Her surrendering owner stated that she has never attempted to bite, but will run and hide when people enter the home. It was noted that she did love the other pets in the home (both dogs and cats) and would snuggle up with her furry companions. It is important that appropriate introductions are made with all new critters to help set her up for success. Sloane would also appreciate plenty of hide spaces that she can call her own when she is feeling overwhelmed. Sloane was said to use the litterbox well and has done so while at the shelter. Making sure you place it in a less-trafficked area of the home is important given her timid personality. It was also mentioned that Sloane is not overly fond of being picked up and handled.
