Benny (A141288) is a 2-year-old Pitbull x Lab mix who weighed 36.7 pounds on intake! 03/03/26 This is Benny! Benny is quite the character and is looking for his new home! He was described as an outgoing and friendly pup. However, Benny has not met many new people and has no experience around children. Making sure slow, safe, and controlled introductions are made is important in helping set this boy up for success. We have found that Benny gets a little nervous when too many people are around his kennel. Benny also has no known experience with other animals. He has been wary of his doggy neighbors but also curious. Appropriate introductions are key. We also encourage his next owner to bring him to a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners and for the added bonus of socialization! Benny was said to walk to the door when he needed to go to potty and liked to hang out in the living room with his person. If you are interested in meeting Benny, please let us know!
