Zina (A123415) is a 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who weighed 13 pounds on intake! 03/10/26 Little Miss Zina is back at the shelter because her adoptive home was just not the right fit. Zina was picking on the senior dog in the home, and it just was not working out. Her adoptive owner also found that Zina was definitely a clinger and enjoys being close with her people. Her next owner may want to discuss separation anxiety with their vet and the best ways to help Zina adjust into a new home setting. She may enjoy a home where she is the queen of her castle and can snuggle up on the couch with her person. She also enjoyed sleeping in bed with her last owner. Zina had issues being kenneled and did break out of the kennel on multiple occasions. She was also known to get into trash and even chew on the doorways when left on her own. She is super sweet to people, loves giving kisses, and can't wait to find her new snuggle buddy. If you are interested in meeting Zina, please let us know! 03/04/26 This loving little mama is Zina! Zina was surrendered to the shelter with a group of dogs including her children â Midge, Bow, and Blanco. She is a social little girl who just wants to be loved! We do not know if she has a history with children, but she has been an absolute delight with the care staff. Appropriate introductions are important with all new people and animals to help continue to set her up for success. We do not know if Zina is fully housebroken so she may need some reminders as she settles into her new routine. If you are interested in meeting this cuddly girl, please let us know!
