Azriel (A140656) is an 11-month-old DSH who weighed 6.16 pounds on intake! 03/12/26 Azriel, previously known as Diamond, is back at the shelter due to no fault of her own. She was said to be a great cat, but they were moving to Hawaii and were unable to bring her with. While in her most recent home, she was said to love her cat tree and was a very playful kitty. She is especially fond of feathery-type toys. She was the only pet in the home; however, when a family member's dog visited, Azriel would run and hide. It is important that slow, safe, and controlled introductions are always made with new animals to help set her up for success. Azriel continues to not have experience with children, as she was noted to play roughly. If you have smaller children in the home, this is something to be aware of. Azriel was said to be litterbox trained and has had no issues going outside the box. And she truly shines bright like a Diamond! She arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for her new home! While here, she has used her litterbox like a champ and has had a healthy appetite. She also has a very playful spirit and LOVES catnip! We do not know her experience level around children or other pets. Please ensure you are making slow, safe, and controlled introductions with all new people and animals to help set her up for success!
