Bouzouki (A140101) is an 8-month-old Pitbull who weighed 39.5 pounds on intake! 02/26/26 This shy guy is Bouzouki! Bouzouki is a sweet but shy pup looking for his next family to love. He was said to have previously done well with the 7-month-old child in the home and generally has a playful demeanor with children. It was noted that he is not always so sure about adults; however, he does warm up over time. We have found that Bouzouki really likes to be between people’s legs for security. He has no experience with cats or pockets, but it was noted that he plays rough with other dogs. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new animals to help set him up for success and keep in mind that not all other dogs appreciate this play style. Bouzouki is a young dog and would highly benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners and build his confidence. He was said to be kennel-trained and housebroken (will stand by the door). It was noted that he is a digger when outdoors.
