Mittens (A140814) is a 15-year-old kitty who weighed over 14 lbs at intake but needs to go on a diet!01/09/26 This is sweet and affectionate kitty is Mittens! Mittens is a sweet senior lady looking for a home without dogs. She was described as a sweet and loving old lady who does well with strangers and children. She does not have experience with other animals, including cats. Any and all introductions should be done in a slow and controlled manner. Mittens was said to be litter box trained. She is a big girl with long hair, so she does have some slight matting on her chest and rump that she may need some help with brushing, until she slims down enough to be able to reach them herself. We highly encourage adopters to research cooperative care in order to turn brushing time into a positive bonding experience! Mittens has been known to jump on people and counters.
