Stenvik (A142640) is a 3-year-old DMH who weighed 9.88 pounds on intake! 07/02/26 This handsome boy is Stenvik! Stenvik arrived at the shelter as a stray and is now looking for his new place to call home. Since he was a stray, we do not know his experience level with people or other animals. It is important to make slow, safe, and controlled introductions to help set him up for success. Stenvik has been a bit overwhelmed with the shelter setting, so he is looking for a home that will allow him to decompress. However, he has still been accommodating to being handled. Stenvik was caught in a live trap and arrived at the shelter with a broken toenail, but was seen by the shelter vet and had it cleaned up! He was also recently neutered and has his incision rechecked by the vet. As he was found roaming outdoors, he may have the desire to bolt out the door or window, so it is important to keep a close eye on him.
