Bruno (A140876) is an 7-month-old husky x lab mix who weighed 40.2 pounds at intake!06/29/26 Bruno was surrendered back to the shelter because his owner realized that they did not have the time to devote to the care that he needed as he aged. He is an active dog who will need plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation. Bruno was said to love going on walks and going to park! He was described as playful with other dogs, but has no experience around smaller critters. It is important that slow, safe, and controlled introductions are made to help set him up for success. Bruno was described as playful around children (but can be a little crazy). He was said to love meeting strangers and does well with adults! Bruno was said to be kennel-trained, housebroken, and rides well in a vehicle. He also knows his basic commands and is very treat-motivated! However, it was noted that he gobbles down his food and would be best to be fed in slow feeders. Bruno was known to be a chewer so it is also important he has appropriate chew toys. We do not know the specific breed mix, as the father is unknown, but mom was said to be a husky x pointer mix. Puppies can be a lot of work, and these little ones will need help with kennel training, potty training and basic obedience.
