Julio (A133869) is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky mix who weighed 90.1 pounds on intake! 06/22/26 This handsome floofy boy is Julio, aka Ju Ju! He was surrendered back to the shelter due to no fault of his own. While in their care, he was stated to be kennel trained, housebroken, and rides well in a vehicle. He was stated to be quite the jumper and lacks some basic manners. He would benefit from attending a basic obedience class with a certified trainer to continue working on his manners. He was said to know his name! Ju Ju was said to do well with other dogs, but was said to want to chase cats. He should go to a home without cats or small animals to help set him up for success. Ju Ju is an active breed so he is looking for a home that will be able to provide him with plenty of mental and physical stimulation. If you are interested in meeting Julio, please let us know! 03/28/26 Julio, previously known as Hui Hui, arrived back at the shelter as a stray and was not redeemed by his most recent owner. Julio has been very outgoing and eager to greet everyone during his stay at the shelter. He has also done well at keeping his kennel clean. Julio was often spotted running the neighborhood around his previous home, so it will be important for his next home to be vigilant about keeping him contained. We do not know Julio's recent experiences with other animals, so please make sure to keep introductions slow and controlled. Puppies are a lot of work and a large responsibility. Hui Hui is looking for an owner with the time and energy to devote to his upbringing. He is an active breed mix that is going to need plenty of mental and physical stimulation as he ages. Right not Hui Hui is in the teething stage and should have plenty of appropriate toys to chew on. His prior owner has been working on kennel training, potty training, and basic commands. He was said to sleep well in his kennel at night and has done a great job at using potty pads. He has also been working on the commands: sit, laydown, and come. However, he is just a little pup and needs an owner who will continue to work with him consistently. We encourage his next owner to bring him to a puppy obedience class to help with socialization and obedience. Hui Hui was known to be vocal especially when excited which is to be expected of a husky.
