Beemer (A141619) is an 8-month-old lab who weighed almost 50 lbs at intake!03/28/26 If you have been looking for an adventure buddy, look no further! Beemer was very reluctantly brought to the shelter due to a move to the Lower 48 combined with a new intensive work schedule that would leave little time for Beemer. This handsome boy is super affectionate and outgoing. He was said to get along with humans of all ages, as well as other dogs. Beemer was said to be kennel trained and housebroken, and he knows quite a few commands (but mostly in Russian). In typical puppy fashion, he has been known to chew and get into the trash when given the opportunity, so make sure he has plenty of appropriate chew toys available! Beemer was said to generally mind well, with good recall, and to ride well in the car. Please remember that it may take a few weeks for Beemer to get comfortable and build a bond with a new owner prior to testing his recall.
